I did it. I put the dvd into the dvd player, pressed play and DID the level 1 work out.
Well. First of all. It is NOT a 20 minute work out. it’s 25 minutes. Which means I just did 25 minute workout. First extended workout since I went running. Um about 3 months ago.
The work out is easy to follow. And I think after doing it for about 60 days I might be able to move onto level 2
At the beginning I found it hard to keep up with the cardio as I was gasping for breath, but as the dvd progressed I found the cardio easier – not easy, but a constant hard work-out. The abs were really hard and I did them all – followed the girl doing the easy work out, as the other girl was going at like double speed!! The strength with weights was really HARD and I thought it got harder throughout.
I did feel like I was going to pass out about 17 minutes in, and then I thought only 3 to go. Ha. 8 mins later I did it! I actually feel refreshed. And like I wanna have a shower and drink a coke (I don’t even drink coke). Look at how the fitness has already transformed me….!
I loved the way Gillian was talking to me (the viewer) as if she knew I could do it. Better than my other bunch of excercise dvds. Great work from the producer!!
I am really impressed that I managed to complete the whole of level 1. And I already feel it in my back and upper arms…… will do it again tomorrow. For sure.
Now to go get my baby and make dinner – you’d think after a year of cooking dinner with Ben on one arm my arms wouldn’t hurt from using weights. Right Ben, Mama’s coming. xxxx
